Madonna Mission

Program Description

Madonna Mission is a not-for-profit organization providing education and resettlement support programs for refugee individuals and families.

By definition of the United Nations (1951), a refugee is a person who flees their country based on a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or social group and cannot, or owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to their native country.

America is a country built by refugees and immigrants who have brought courage, hope and diversity to many communities. These refugees arrive legally at our doorsteps in desperate need, but also with strong values and rich cultural heritage.

Madonna Mission provides a center to assist refugees in their adjustment to their new home. It creates a community to learn life skills to achieve self-sufficiency while providing a safe place to develop and enrich bonds of friendship.
