Intonation Music Workshop
Mike Simons, Executive Director of the Intonation Music Workshop said, "When I had my first visit from Tony Hoban and Springboard, I was running a pilot program with eight students, a storage closet and my own instruments. This past school year we served over 600 students at 12 different sites with in-school, afterschool, and summer music programs. How did we get from there to here? No one does it alone, and in our case, Springboard really lived up to their name." Mike credits the Springboard fundamentals, the grantee network, additional resources to help build capacity, five years of funding and Springboard member engagement as the critical pieces that have made the difference in his organization.
