Embarc

Program Description

Embarc is a non-profit organization, providing unique cultural experiences and interactions to high school students from Chicago's most socially and economically isolated neighborhoods. The program forms partnerships with the public school system as well as local businesses and arts organizations in Chicago's thriving cultural community.

Our goal is to empower students with knowledge and positive models so that they will demand success of themselves and be able to lead and mentor others. By providing regularly scheduled eye-opening experiences, EMBARC creates lasting impressions and ultimately inspires students to invest in their future success.

EMBARC also fosters a student-driven social community with a strong emphasis on mentoring and leadership. By widening students' perspective and empowering them with tools to sculpt their future, they will continue their growth and personal development past high school, college and beyond.

We envision a world in which all students have the freedom and the tools to attain their dreams.
